Why you need this course?
This course is designed for all levels of management. In particular the course is addressed to:
•    those responsible for the implementation of new systems or the maintenance of existing systems
•    companies wishing to enhance the awareness of all personnel involved in the  implementation of ISO 9001
•    seafarers on board that the management company follows a Quality Management System under ISO 9001
•    everyone in an organization using the ISO 9001 framework

Course objectives
The scope of this course is to create a basic knowledge on Quality Management Systems (QMS) following the requirements of ISO 9001.

•    The benefits of implementing ISO 9001
•    The approach to implementation of ISO 9001
 
Course Content:
•    Introduction to the (ISO) International Organization for Standardization; infrastructure, development process and procedures
•    Introduction to the concepts of quality, its historical evolution
•    Introduction of basic concepts and terminology associated with quality management
•    Introduction to the benefits through implementation of ISO 9001
•    Introductory  background to; an overview and an examination of the changes, together with discussion of the correspondence to existing and other standards
•    Detailed review and interpretation of the requirements of ISO 9001 standard
