• Importance of documented management system to control health and safety
• Importance of risk assessment for health and safety in all types of business activities
• How to carry out risk assessment, assess significance of identified risk and control it
• Objective, targets, operational control and emergency preparedness in controlling the identified risk
• The approach to implementation of OHSAS 18001:2007

• Introduction to risk management and related concepts
• Risk identification and assessment
• The requirements of the OHSAS 18001, interpreting and translation into practice
• Safety pressures on business and organizational workplace risk exposures
• Setting up an internal audit program
• Auditing techniques
• Planning and preparing for an safety audit
• Conducting and reporting safety audits
• Corrective action implementation and follow-up

Prerequisites:
Prior knowledge of QMS ISO 9000, EMS ISO14000 and Occupational health and safety issues would be beneficial
